Adding text on Final Cut Pro

• Firstly, go to the top right on the page to see a tools bar.
• Click on effects
• Then click on video generators
• Then click on text
• Then this will show a range of text types: crawl, lower 3rd, outline text, scrolling text ad typewriter.
• Once you have chosen the text type you want there will be 4 tabs in viewer: video, controls, filters, motion.
• In controls, you can change the text, font, size, colour etc to get it how you want it.
• Finally, to put it into your timeline, drag it from viewer into the timeline above your video.
