What are the conventions of film openings?
In most film openings, the production company logo and the distribution company logo is introduced.
- A distributor company logo.
The name of the film is usually shown after all the credits, the names of the stars are shown during the credits.
- Example of an opening credit, introducing the director.
In a common film opening, the main protagonist is introduced and key locations are shown. Music is usually played to set the mood or tone, which creates suspense and the mood of the film is established.
